Dongxin Fireworks was founded in 1996. The company operates multiple wholly owned or controlling subsidiaries, with a registered capital of RMB 111.68 million, occupies over 600 hectares of land, and employs more than 1,600 staff members. Integrating fireworks research and development, manufacturing, sales, and display services, the company also holds independent import‑export rights.
The company operates seven major fireworks manufacturing plants, along with four supporting facilities. It produces over 3,000 varieties across eleven major categories, including aerial fireworks, small celebratory fireworks, shell fireworks, stage fireworks, firecrackers, and combination fireworks. Its products are safe, environmentally friendly, and of high quality, enjoying strong sales throughout China and being exported to dozens of countries and regions in Asia, the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Africa.
The company has been recognized by the former State Administration of Work Safety as a “Safety Science and Technology Support Platform—Fireworks and Firecrackers Safety Technology Innovation Center” and a pilot demonstration enterprise for “mechanization to replace manpower, automation to reduce labor.” It has also been designated a “National High-Tech Enterprise,” a “Hunan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center,” the “Hunan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Safe Manufacturing Technologies of Fireworks and Firecrackers,” and a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative ‘Little Giant’ Enterprise of Hunan Province.” Furthermore, it has been awarded the title of “Innovative Enterprise” by both Hunan Province and Changsha City. The Dongxin Fireworks Research Institute, wholly owned by the company, is a leading domestic research and testing platform for the fireworks and firecrackers industry, boasting substantial scale and well‑equipped scientific research facilities. The company has undertaken and completed more than 20 projects at various levels, including key projects under the National Science and Technology Support Program and major science and technology initiatives of Hunan Province, securing over 80 authorized patents and receiving national, provincial, and municipal awards for more than 40 products and technologies.

He is revered by the media as the "Night Sky Flower Maker" and has been rooted in the inheritance and innovation of Liuyang Fireworks, a national intangible cultural heritage, for decades. He writes the night sky with fireworks and showcases the charm of Chinese culture with fireworks.
Dongxin Fireworks was founded by Mr. Zhong Ziqi in 1996
He inherited and carried forward the traditional fireworks industry and fireworks culture in Liuyang, and constantly summarized the experience, weeded through the old to bring forth the new.
